Commercial Radio Frequency (RF) Collections from Space

Technological advances and their rapid diffusion can create challenges for U.S. law, policy, and regulation. New or improved information collection technologies present both opportunities and concerns for national security, foreign policy, privacy, and the safekeeping of proprietary information. Given that commercial RF collections from space are underway today, the time for deliberate actions to accomplish U.S. goals regarding such commercial activities has certainly arrived.
